SCL is also committed to proper Internet practices and full compliance with the CAN-SPAM Act of 2003 (15 U.S.C. § 7701).

Please note that under the CAN-SPAM Act, an advertiser is required to provide an opt-out mechanism for consumers to unsubscribe from future e-mails about the advertiser. Although not required to by law, many e-mail marketers also include an opt-out mechanism to enable consumers to be removed from their mailing list. SCL provide this facility in all their newsletters and autoresponders.

Children's Privacy

SCL are very sensitive to the issue of children's privacy and make every effort to protect the privacy of children using the Internet. SCL's Web site, products, and services are not developed for or directed at children. Children (persons under the age of 18) are not eligible to do business with us and we do not collect personal information from any person we actually know is under the age of 13. Glossary

Internet Protocol (IP) is the address issued to your computer by your Internet Service Provider when you log onto to the Internet. It will look something like this 167.154.76.5.

Internet Service Provider (ISP) is the company that provides your access to the Internet.

Cookies are small text files that are often created when you visit a website, and are stored in the cookie directory of your browser. SCL use cookies to track traffic through our sites and repeat visits. You can accept or reject cookies by changing you browser settings; this will not affect your ability to view this site.

JavaScript is a simple web scripting language. SCL use JavaScript to collect anonymous web usage information and provide simple interactive tools.
